Last night the 6th grade boys Rockets played their 3rd consecutive home game as they hosted Lombardi. In the first game the Gold Team suffered their first loss of the season by one point. There was some good hustle in the game, but some mental errors cost them valuable points and possessions. Players scoring in the game were Jeffrey, Zach, Arynn, Jamyle, and Manny. A standout performance was had by Tyler, who showed excellent hustle and played extremely tough.
In the second game the Blue Team got their second straight win as they squeaked out a one point victory. Players scoring for the team were Mickey, Terry, Enrique, Bennett, Antonio, and Matthew. Others contributing to the win were Ruben, Adan, Chalie, and Joseph.
Remember we have practice tonight after school.
The 6th grade girls basketball team showed hustle, determination and a highly competitive effort against Lombardi last night. Strong performers were Andrea, Sierra, Lilly and Melina. No practice tonight.
The next home game is Monday against Edison. Team A plays at 3:30p.m. and Team B plays at 4:30P.M.
Congratulations to all the jazz band members! They earned a 1st place in the Wisconsin School Music Association solo and ensemble adjudication.
