Play Lacrosse!
If you are interested in playing lacrosse, either e-mail Head Coach Brooker at
pirate_lax_coach@yahoo.com or call 471-8340. Or see JV Coach Casey in room D213. Season starts March 1, 2011. We are working to set up a varsity trip to play a Chicago team and see a University of Notre Dame game during spring break. Please plan accordingly.

 The Bay Port lacrosse team will be holding team meetings during the following activity periods:

Monday, October 25 - 3rd hour, December 13 - 1st hour, January 31 - 3rd hour


Off season do:

    • If you're not playing a 2nd sport, get in the weight room and join up with Coach Williquette's program.

    • PLYOS! Workout with Mr. Smith. He will make you faster and stronger.

    •  

      Wall ball (50 reps left & right - one handed, two handed, quick stick (all two paces from wall); change hands (throw one hand, switch and catch with the other, throw w/ that hand, switch and catch with the other), face dodge, fake, behind the back (all 5-6 paces from the wall)

    • Do stick work with a partner (both hands, perfect form, not flat footed) - one handed, two handed, switches, lower hand catch, lower hand throw/catch, quick stick

    • Take larger plastic cups and stick them in a baseball backstop. Practice accuracy in shooting.

    • Play pickup games.

    • Practice dodges with each other or use trees or other objects.
